Chairman called on Head of European Union Delegation to Nepal

Chairman Dr. Pushpa Adhikari called on H.E. Dr. Alexander Spachis, the Head of European Union Delegation to Nepal. During the meeting Dr. Adhikari lauded the role played by the Delegation since Constituent Assembly Elections in Nepal.

Dr. Adhikari also briefed the members of the Delegation on activities of SPIN as a independent Think Tank in a bid to bring back Nepal's lost glory.

He highlighted the importance of Nepal as a strategic country and underlined the restoration of peace at the soonest and Development partners role in ensuring that rather that flaring up the issues of their own vested interest.

The meeting was followed by discussion with staff members at the Delegation on various issues pertaining to geo political and regional concerns.


Chairman Addresses Various Think Tanks
Chairman Dr. Adhikari delivered scores of lectures during his stay in New Delhi, India. He is currently in New Delhi as a Fellow at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Institute of Advanced Study. During his stay in India, Dr. Adhikari was invited to many Think Tanks and academic institutions to deliver lectures on China-South Asia strategic relations, China's policy towards East and South Asia, Nepal's internal politics, Foreign Policy of Nepal and possibility of strategic partnership between India and China.
